mc table replicate backfill start

The mc table replicate backfill start command starts a catalog identity backfill across all warehouses.

The backfill scans all warehouses and populates missing catalog identity records for namespaces, tables, and views. Only one backfill can run at a time; if a backfill is already in progress, the command fails.

The command returns immediately. The backfill runs asynchronously. Check its progress with mc table replicate backfill status.

Example Syntax

The command has the following syntax:

mc [GLOBALFLAGS] table replicate backfill start ALIAS

Brackets [] indicate optional parameters.
Parameters sharing a line are mutually dependent.
Parameters separated using the pipe | operator are mutually exclusive.
