mc kms key create

The mc kms key create command creates a KMS key.

Syntax

The command has the following syntax:

mc kms key create TARGET [KEY_NAME]

Global flags

This command supports any of the global flags.

Examples

Create a new key named ‘my-key’.

mc kms key create play my-key

Behavior

S3 compatibility

This command uses a MinIO AIStor administrative API and does not work against other S3-compatible services.
