mc idp openid update

The mc idp openid update command modifies an existing set of configurations for an OIDC provider.

Example and syntax

The following example changes two of the configuration settings for the myaistor deployment as defined in the DEX configuration for Dex integration.

mc idp openid update                      \
              myaistor                    \
              DEX                         \
              scopes="openid,groups"      \
              role_policy="consoleAdmin"

The command has the following syntax:

mc [GLOBALFLAGS] idp openid update \
                            ALIAS            \
                            [CFG_NAME]       \
                            [CFG_PARAM1]     \
                            [CFG_PARAM2]...
  • Replace ALIAS with the alias of a MinIO AIStor deployment to configure for OpenID integration.
  • Replace CFG_NAME with the string that identifies the configuration to update. If not specified, the command updates the default configuration (internally named _). The name is case-sensitive and must match exactly the name used when the configuration was created.
  • Replace the [CFG_PARAM#] with each of the configuration setting key-value pairs to update in the format of PARAMETER="value".

Copy the example to a text editor and modify as needed before running the command in the terminal/shell.

The change takes effect after you restart the deployment:

mc admin service restart myaistor

Global flags

This command supports any of the global flags.
