Administration

This section covers the day-to-day administration of the resources inside a MinIO Key Management Service (KMS) cluster: the enclaves that isolate tenants, the keys they hold, and the identities and policies that control access.

For the concepts behind these resources, see Core Concepts.

  • Enclave Management — create and manage the isolated namespaces that hold keys and identities.
  • Key Management — create, rotate, and delete master keys, and generate data keys.
  • Identity Management — create the identities that authenticate to the cluster.
  • Access Control — write and assign the policies that govern what identities can do.
