mc admin name set

Sets or replaces the cluster name for an AIStor deployment.

This command cannot override a cluster name set with the MINIO_SITE_NAME environment variable.

Example

The following command sets the cluster name for the deployment at alias myaistor:

mc admin name set myaistor production-cluster

The output resembles the following:

Cluster name for alias 'myaistor' has been changed to 'production-cluster'

ALIAS

Required

The alias of a configured AIStor deployment.

NAME

Required

The name to assign to the cluster. This name identifies the deployment in SUBNET, site replication peer configuration, log output, and mc admin cluster info output.
