MinIO Sidekick Documentation

MinIO Sidekick is a high-performance sidecar load balancer licensed under the MinIO Commercial License.

This site documents the installation, administration, and operations of MinIO Sidekick running the latest stable release.

Sidekick attaches directly to client application processes, monitoring backend server health and removing unhealthy servers from the rotation automatically. Requests are distributed across healthy backends using configurable algorithms. Multi-site deployments provide automatic failover when an entire site becomes unavailable.

After installation, review the core concepts to understand how Sidekick routes traffic and handles failures.

The CLI reference provides documentation for command-line flags and configuration options.
