mc admin name get

Retrieves the cluster name for an MinIO AIStor deployment.

Syntax

Example

The following command retrieves the cluster name for the deployment at alias myaistor:

mc admin name get myaistor

The output resembles the following:

Cluster name is PhoenixFrost

If the name is set using the MINIO_SITE_NAME environment variable, the name is surrounded by ' characters and includes a note:

Cluster name is 'production-cluster', set using 'MINIO_SITE_NAME'

Cluster names set by an environment variable cannot be changed with mc admin name set.
