Kubernetes

MinIO AIStor supports deploying resources onto Kubernetes infrastructure through our first-party operator model.

MinIO AIStor also provides a Red Hat OpenShift certified operator.

Setting up MinIO AIStor on Kubernetes involves these steps:

  1. Install MinIO AIStor
  2. Configure load balancing
  3. Set up network encryption
  4. Set up server-side encryption
  5. Enable FIPS mode (optional, for regulatory compliance)

Kubernetes API support

Production Kubernetes infrastructure should run currently supported releases of the Kubernetes API.

See the Kubernetes Release page for a complete list of supported API versions. MinIO AIStor does not guarantee functionality on End-of-Life Kubernetes distributions.

MinIO AIStor may have limited or impaired functionality on older Kubernetes API due to the unavailability of newer APIs or differences in API behavior.
